A lovely 4.5-mile fell race up Pendle Hill with a bit of a dip down below the summit, losing well-earned height, to face a really steep ascent directly to the trig.

Nathan Edmondson was second place in 31:49 mins, only 20 seconds behind the winner Grant Cuncliffe from Rossendale Harriers. I finished in 48:07 and 2nd FV50. Antonio finished in 1:39 and 8th MV70 (a very competitive age group!)

I would certainly encourage more Harriers to have a go next year as it’s a great race for £5 entry fee and lots of tea, cake and soup at the end.
