The Junior Ilkley Harriers team organised the junior races at the Jack Bloor Races from 2003-2005.

Courses 2003-2005
- Age 6-9 years, 0.5 miles, 180' climb

Start (as do all courses from 2004) at the bottom of the grass slope near the cattlegrid, marked S
After 100m turn sharp left, cross a narrow bridge and climb a steep narrow path
Turn right on the bigger path, with steps, towards White Wells
2/3 of the way up, turn right onto a path that descends gently for 150m
Turn right, then right again on the path that follows the beck towards the finish
Pass the first footbridge, and cross the beck at a taped point further down
The course is fully marshalled and flagged.
- 10-13 years, 0.75 miles, 300' climb

Start (as do all courses from 2004) at the bottom of the grass slope near the cattlegrid, marked S
Continue through the narrow path beside the fenced area (covered reservoir)
Turn left and follow the broad grassy track directly up to White Wells
Pass on the track between White Wells and the disused toilets building
Follow the main track up towards Rocky Valley
At the foot of Rocky Valley (point R) turn as directed by marshals and retrace the course to White Wells
Any route may be taken from White Wells (point W) but you must cross the beck at the tapes which will lead you into the Finish
- 14-16 years, 1.5 miles, 600'
Follow the purple dots to Rocky Valley point R as for the 10-13 class
Then follow the green dots on the map ...
Continue up the stony steps and climb to the cairn C as directed by marshals
Turn right and follow the narrow stony path that descend back towards the top of the woods
Continue to follow this path downwards to White wells, as directed by marshals
Any route may be taken from White Wells (point W) but you must cross the beck at the tapes which will lead you into the Finish
