In the 2008/2009 season this was the second race in the series, taking the place of the cancelled Westville House School event. Many thanks to Nell Bank for the use of these wonderful facilities.

- Saturday 22nd November 2008
- Races for Year 1 to Year 6 (NO Reception race)
- Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed runners.
- Winning team Competition (first 4 runners to count). Certificate is awarded to winning school team.
- Certificates for all finishers (to be sent to schools after the event)
- Toilet facilities are available at Nell Bank, but all activity areas are strictly out of bounds.
- Nell Bank is a DOG FREE AREA so please leave your dog at home or in the car.

Car Parking
Please note: there is NO car Parking available on the field just inside the Nell Bank entrance as it is saturated. Please do not drive up to Nell Bank as there are other groups using the centre on Saturday and the limited amount available to us is for helpers only.
The best place to park is at the Swimming Pool and walk through Middleton Woods onto the fields being used for the races.

2006/7
In March 2007 this was the third race in the Wharfedale Primary Schools Cross-Country League (more). Just over 350 children competed from Year 1 to Year 6.

2005/6
On Saturday 21st January 2006, the Junior Ilkley Harriers team organised a morning of Cross Country races at Nell Bank for Primary School children. We had 383 children from 13 schools. Thanks to all the Schools who participated, and a special thank you to all the marshals and helpers, and the staff at Nell Bank.
