From Caroline Howe…
A small but hardy bunch of Harriers took on this year’s Ilkley Incline event! First to finish was Rob Cunningham, with Lucy Williamson in second place. Pete Shelley was first by age grade and Jenny Roberts was second female (both overall and by age grade). All four win £25 adidas vouchers – many thanks to the anonymous Harrier who donated these! There was an appearance by Andy Wolfenden – the inventor of the Ilkley Incline race, which has been running since 2002, and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, when the race will return in its full format! Many thanks to our marshals Dawn Turner, Hilda Coulsey, Sally Armitage and Mike Williamson; finishing team of Neil Chapman and Jeff Green; and Jonathan Turner and Dan McKeown behind the scenes. Well done to all who took part.
