Three pairs from the Harriers took part in the Saunders 2 day Lakeland mountain marathon starting this year from St John’s in the Vale, with the overnight camp near Dockray.
The weather was pretty wet most of the weekend with low cloud and high winds but the terrain was OK with lots of route choice, especially in the score class. Nice and sociable at the camp when the rain stopped and a very impressive number of portaloos!

Harry Brook-Dobson + Edwyn Oliver-Evans 6th in Fairfield class with a score of 590 points (11hr43)
Alison and Nea Weston 13th in Fairfield class with 535 points (2nd female team) 11hr44.
