It was the 40th anniversary of the Dentdale run on Saturday 9th March. Dent Primary School organise a 14 and 8 mile road race: down, then back up the valley. While the route sticks relatively close to the river it still clocks up a decent amount of elevation for a road race and this year we had a vicious wind to contend with (and reap the benefits of) as well. Sally Malir ran the 8 mile race and came 22nd overall and 2nd in the F55 category in 63:02. I ran the 14 mile race and finished 13th in 1:35:05. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
