From Mark Hall…
Three Ilkley runners took part in the latest York 5k series event. Conditions were warm with a little wind. A field of 83 lined up. Nathan Edmondson once again performed to his usual excellent standard winning the event in 14.42 also setting an event record in a rare outing for him at 5k. Mark Hall was 26th in 17.47 and for those who like age grades 92.5%. Next was Harry Sime 57th in 20.13.
