After seeing the weather forecast, the organisers sent out a note the night before saying they were considering a shorter course, but on the morning the weather wasn’t quite as bad as expected so we all set off in the rain into the mist for a lap up and around the sugar loaf mountain. A lovely fell race (6 miles/1590 ft) made better by a pub to warm up in at the finish.
