From Beth Massey…
Not being a fan of hills and wanting to do a 10k race, I decided to travel to Wakefield instead of Keighley to avoid the hills! However, despite being billed as a flat 10k, the route is out and back towards Horbury on what can only be described as a tough, undulating course! The race was well supported with over 1300 runners taking part. I was pleased to finish in a time of 41.25 and 1st FV50. The only other Harrier I could find in the results was Mike Williams who finished in a time of 44.22.
The race was won by Mark Bostock (Wakefield & District AC) in 31.32 and the first female was Lucy Robinson (unattached) in 34.51.
