Charles Wain and I ran the new route for the Three Shires fell race this weekend. Starting and finishing at Tilberthwaite farm, instead of Little Langdale, and in an anti-clockwise direction with Wetherlam as the last climb. A bit more distance and climbing (22km and 1535m) but I like the new route!
The race was won by Tom Simpson from Ambleside in 2:07 and Sharon Taylor from Helm Hill in 2:55.
