Three Harriers travelled down to Shropshire for the last race in the English champs fell league. 14 miles with 1270 metres of climb. The route had a bit of everything, some very steep sections and quite a lot of fast running on tracks and grassy paths. There was some route choice at the start and finish which meant that on the start line some runners were facing forwards with others facing completely the opposite direction! The final results for the league are not out yet but Dan Dry looks to be high in the MOpen category, Alison has had some excellent results in the WV55 category and I should have secured 3rd WV40.
