18 miles / 8500ft. This race played host to the British long distance Fell and Hill running Championships for 2024. This is a serious fell race and takes in steep and rocky terrain, it involves visiting 9 peaks and scrambling along the Y LLiwedd exposed ridge to Snowdon summit. The clag was down for most of the race so it was navigationally challenging with tight time-out limits at certain checkpoints. I managed to get round in one piece and was really pleased bag the British bronze medal for my age group finishing in 5hr 52mins.
