From Colin Williams…
On Sunday I ran the It’s Grim up North ‘Sir Titus Trot Marathon’. IGUN is a local company that regularly runs small friendly races from 5K up to Ultra Marathons. Pre-covid, their races filled up quickly, but recently their numbers have been down, so if you are looking for a race at short notice, run by a very friendly team, give them a go.
The marathon on Sunday was along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal and while flat the hot weather made it a very tough race. I finished in 4:14:58, the race winner was Joseph Minton in a time of 3:57:23.
