Seven Ilkley Harriers gathered for the local Round Hill Fell Race on Sunday morning which was also a counter in the Club League. The warm and breezy day coupled with the recent dry weather made for a good running pace and there was little evidence of the usual boggy conditions. A couple of stream crossings meant that feet didn’t completely escape getting wet. Justin Pierce was the first Harrier to finish as he stormed round the course taking 12th place overall. I was 1st FV60 and very surprised to find I had set a new age category record.
