From Hilda Coulsey…
Yes indeed parkruns have restarted in one part of UK. I surprised even myself by coming top of the age grade % list with 86.84, my time of 24.49 also improved my age category record for Portrush.
Portrush is an excellent run, entirely on the beach which means times are very dependant on tides (high tide and you are running on very soft sand) and winds (normally strong westerly directly against in the second half). It is such fun and you’re not time watching because of these. Very social too, hopefully soon they can reintroduce tea and biscuits afterwards and chatting. Today was low tide and fairly light winds. Having cycled to, ran, swam in the sea, coffee then cycled back it was a super morning.
