Twenty Harriers lined up for the notoriously difficult Otley 10 mile road race on Wednesday evening. Weather conditions defied expectations with a mild sunny evening with a cooling breeze. This year the course was modified to include a new steep section that had many of us looking for our walking boots. The new theme continued with a finish that avoided the town centre. Harriers did very well with Sally starring as 2nd lady, 1st F40. The men won the team prize as Ilkley once again showed great strength in depth. Other prizes went to Michael Odell for 2nd MV35 (12th finisher) and Mike Williams MV60.
