A very wet and windy two-day mountain marathon with tricky navigation in the mist and a boggy overnight camp! My last OMM was about 20 years ago and things haven’t changed that much except better toilet facilities and lovely looking tents (compared to mine!).

Mark and Rebecca Mon-Williams had two consistently good days to secure 1st vet mixed and 3rd mixed team in the B course.

John Hayes with partner Martyn Pegg improved 110 places on the second day (7th overall) in the medium score to come 42nd over the two days, whilst Alison Weston and daughter Nea came in 71st over the two days and sixth female pair having moved down a few places on the second day with an aborted river crossing and a not insignificant navigational blunder!
