Ilkley Harriers had a fantastic turnout at the Newlands Memorial race on Saturday with a team running for both men and women. The route starts from Stair and ascends Robinson, Hindsgarth, Dale Head, Highs Spy and Catbells before a steep descent back to the start -12.50 miles and 3,609ft climbing .
Another outstanding win for Ben in 1:30:52, and amazing 6th place for Sam (and 2nd under 23) and 9th for Oli.
Kate had a storming run too to claim 2nd V45 prize and a big well done to Shaunna too on her first fell race …talk about jumping in at the deep end!!
