Last Sunday I returned to Kielder to run the marathon for my fourth time. The enforced year off due to last year’s race being cancelled, allowed me to forget how undulating the course around the Kielder Reservoir is. As always the well organised event was well attended and had a party atmosphere. The day started with rain but luckily stopped just before the race started and mostly kept dry for the rest of the event, I finished in a time of 3:48:18.
