Jura Fell Race – Sat 27 May

From Nea Weston…

Alison and I took part in the Jura fell race this weekend. With 7 summits and 2,370m of climbing over 27km, it was an adventure of a day, mainly experienced in rain and clag!

It was a great course, largely consisting of bog and scree with steep gradients in between! We emerged into the sun as we slid down from Pap 3, to finish the race in lovely Scottish sun!

Finlay Wild won the race in a time of 3:07, and the first woman was Eleanor Johnstone with a time of 4:18.

It was a fantastic day, rounded off with a ceilidh to local tunes.

Alison Weston: 5:33

Nea Weston: 6:21
