Nea and I just completed Jura fell race – a unique race on the Isle of Jura encompassing the 3 Paps and 4 Pips of Jura.
Unfortunately 6 weeks of dry sunny weather came to an end the eve before the race. The rain came in and clag came down making the navigation very tricky. Nea and I got off route a few times, not catastrophic but meaning worse terrain and a bit of extra undesirable distance.
Finlay Wild won the race in an incredible 3 hrs 7 mins, with a 15 minute lead. Nea and I finished just over 3 hours later, in 6 hours 20 – very chuffed to make the cut offs and complete the race!
