There were two sensational Harriers performances at the International Snowdon Race.
Nathan Edmondson was third behind Scotland’s Ross Gollan and Italy’s Luca Merli, while Ben Rothery – wearing an England vest for the first time – claimed fifth.
The event attracts top athletes from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, along with some of the best racers from other European countries.
It was the 47th staging of this challenging ten-mile race which involves running from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon and back to Llanberis.
Nathan finished in a superb time of 1:10:20, under one minute behind the winner, while Ben clocked 1:11:50.
