From Helen Waddington…
Always a popular summer event this takes place around a two-lap course on the tarmac paths in Woodhouse Moor park. When entering you declare your predicted time and are allocated into heats (13 in total) with each group setting off as soon as the previous heat has finished. Fantastic organisation by Hyde Park Runners and great crowd support from other runners waiting their turn or recovering from their effort! Six Harriers took part with some great performances from first time milers (and I was happy with a pb).
