From Iain Young…
First of all, congratulations to Ed Hobbs, not only for finishing first but also breaking the course record in this year’s race.
For me, having made a return from plantar fasciitis that I picked up from doing the Ilkley Half earlier in the year, I am super pleased I got to take part in this year’s Guy Fawkes 10, which may be the last race from Ripley Castle. And for finishing a few minutes sub 70, plus I was only a few seconds over my course best which was two years ago, making this one my second-fastest effort.
Well done to all the other Harriers who also ran and finished strong.
