A glorious day for this well organised race which was one of many options on offer as part of the OMM weekend. I opted for the 17k with 1,200 feet of elevation which took in a loop of Loughrigg Fell and covered a mix of trail, typical Lakeland rocky paths, a bit of road and lakeside beach and stunning views of Rydal Water and Grasmere. Brilliant organisation and a lovely atmosphere in the finish field watching the conclusion of the OMM Lite.
