Timings:
6:45pm Fancy Dress Relay Race Start
7:30pm Drinks & Prize-Giving at the Vaults (Stockeld Road)
Relay route:
Approx. 1.4-mile figure of eight, starting and finishing near the Old Bridge (Denton Road side). Jeffers can run/walk a shorter (0.8 mile) loop.
Rules:
– Teams of 4 to run one leg each.
– Teams of 3 allowed by exception only (e.g. in case of drop-outs) in which case 1 runner runs 2 legs.
– Fancy dress strongly encouraged!
– Juniors (14 and under) must be accompanied by an adult on the route as it will be dark and on roads with variable street-lighting.
‘Fees’ (donation):
£4 per team / £1 per person – ideally one card payment per team please (but cash also accepted). Will be collected on the evening and all donated to Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
Prizes:
1. First team.
2. First junior team (all 15-)
3. First mixed team (2F2M).
4. First all-female team
5. First vets team (all F40+ or M55+).
6. Best individual fancy dress.
7. Best team fancy dress.
