On Friday Paul Carman completed a solo run of the Cumbrian Traverse. It is a linear fell challenge from South to North Lake District, starting at Broughton in Furness and finishing at the Moot Hall in Keswick. It takes in Coniston Old Man, Bowfell, Great Gable and a lot of the more rocky technical and highest mountains in England. 32 miles / 12, 000ft / 21 Peaks. Starting at 9am he finished at 6.52pm taking 9 hours 52 minutes.
