Two wonderful performances from Harriers today at the Commonwealth Games and – judging by the WhatsApp group – massively enjoyed by many of you:

Dom Coy – at just 20 – took silver with Team Wales in the Mixed Relay. And he produced an epic leg himself, clocking a faster time than Sam Dickinson who won gold with Team England.

Rhys Jones, who has worked so hard to make this a reality, was fourth behind world champion Dave Ellis in the PTVI men’s race. We caught up with him earlier and he said: “What a day. Tried our best to catch big Jono [Australian Jonathan Goerlach] on the run but couldn’t break him. So pleased with that though. Gave absolutely everything. Thanks to everyone for all the support along the way.”

Both doing themselves proud and while we appreciate their tri clubs and national federations come first, making the Harriers very proud too.
