For the second time this year I managed to pip Gav Mulholland in one of his local Calder Valley fell races. The route was a hilly and wet circuit of the hidden Castle Carr estate near Luddenden. Simon Bell ran strongly and was on for fourth until he took a long detour in the mist on the last leg.
