From Dick Waddington…
One of the biggest half marathons in the country, this is a surprisingly fast course given the complexity of the route, which takes you through the grounds of two of the many beautiful colleges – Jesus and Kings (which alone had 6 tight turns) before heading out of town on a big loop of pleasant, if unremarkable, surrounding countryside. Tremendous crowd support throughout and the kind of slick organisation you would expect in an event of this size. Definitely PB potential and well worth the schlep down the A1.
