From Alison Weston…

Alison and Nea completed Borrowdale fell race on Saturday. A cooler day for this 27km 2,000m race starting from Rosthwaite and going up Scafel Pike (and down the scree run!), Great Gable and Dalehead. Less runners this year so we all spread out a bit and local knowledge of the better lines was an advantage.

The race was won by Harry Bolton in 2:54 hrs.

I was really pleased with 4:57 hrs (1st V60) and being ahead of Nea for a change, who finished in 4:32 hrs (having taken some lovely photos en route) 

The event field is also a campsite for runners for the weekend, so a highly recommended event and weekend in Borrowdale.
