The Blackpool Marathon, like so many races, was postponed from earlier in the year, originally due to be run in April.
This is the third time that I have taken part – it is a flat course, two laps of the seafront on closed roads.
I started well but found it hard going 2/3 of the way, and was a few minutes down on my previous results.
I finished 49th in a time of 3:32:40, the race was won by Michael Taylor in a time of 2:26:12. 195 Ran.
