From Jo Foster…

Before marshalling on Sunday I did the other half marathon that was on this weekend, Saturday’s Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon. It’s a gorgeous route that starts and finishes in Threshfield and is lumpier than I remembered. It’s not just about Mastiles Lane! We also had humid conditions but there was, at least, a bit of breeze in parts – and tractors to get stuck behind! This was the first race I’ve done in a very long time and I was really pleased to get round in 2:17:05 and 2nd FV50. There were a few other Harriers there too and some great performances – Matt Cox was sixth (and first MV45), Jenny Roberts was second lady (and ran the Ilkley Half the next day!) while Jayne Norman notched another PB.
