Another trip to the Preston area for this race. I have not run in this event before so gave the organiser a call to ask about the circuit he informed me that the circuit was flat which it was, unfortunately, he didn’t mention there was a 1 mile (at least) section of farm track with lots of water filled pot holes and lots of mud, not ideal for race shoes. I finished in 10th place (1st V60) from a field of 250 in 36.50. The winner was Ian Agular from Chorley Athletic in 33.12,
