Junior Ilkley Harriers training sessions

Although Sportshall Athletics training is no longer available once you reach the age of 15, there are running and other training opportunities for members up to the age of 18 as part of the junior program.

Senior Ilkley Harriers training sessions

Members of Junior Ilkley Harriers aged 15+ may take part in selected senior sessions as part of the 'transition' program to senior club membership, subject to that session being led by a qualified coach and a parental consent form having been provided. A register of all U18s attending senior sessions will be maintained. Further clarification in this document.

Club runs on Tuesday evening, ILTSC 7pm

Tuesday evening is Ilkley Harriers Club night when senior Harriers meet to go out for social runs of various length, over different types of terrain.

Runners aged 15+ may run in any group led by someone with a LiRF (or higher) qualification and CRB check.

A parent must be in attendance to confirm agreement of group choice.

Come changed and ready to run at 7pm. Wear a light/bright/reflective top and suitable running shoes.

Thursday training

Junior Ilkley Harriers aged 15+ are welcome at the Thursday sessions led by Neil Chapman (Level 2 coach) on the moor (Spring/Summer) or on the grass at ILTSC (Autumn/Winter). Details here.

Please note that a completed parental consent form, any relevant medical information and emergency contact details must be provided before a runner under 18 can participate in senior club sessions:
