I'll be allocating numbers for the Harrogate League again this evening. So far we have 34 Ilkley Harriers registered. As a reminder the 1st race will be on 29th April in Ilkley. The series is suitable for runners of all abilities. We want to be competitive in all of the age categories, but also the races are ideal for beginners.
I will be at the Wakefield 10k on Sunday for anyone who isn't able to get a number on a Tuesday evening.

We now have about 50 Ilkley Harriers registered for the Harrogate League. We would like as many runners as possible to take part. It is ideal for those who are new to racing. We are also aiming to do well in the various team competitions. You can obtain a number from Jane Bryant or myself. The series is free to enter, we just ask that you run in a minimum of two of the races in the series.

The first race is in Ilkley on 29 April.

We have about 75 Ilkley Harriers registered for the Harrogate League. Hopefully you will all show up & run at the race tomorrow....start time 7:45, details here: http://www.harrogate-league.org.uk/inde ... ge=details

We need as many runners as possible to take part so that we can challenge for the team competitions. If you don't yet have a number, you can get one on the night, but please arrive early.

Great to see another top notch Harriers performance last night in hosting the Harrogate League race, I thought we did ourselves proud to put on another flawless event, and still maintain a strong racing presence as well.

Particular thanks to Neil for organising the whole thing as well as shepherding all of us marshalls and doing such a grand job of it, and of course the ladies in the kitchen for a 'reet tasty feed' at the end of it all.

Well done Harriers

I would like to thank all those who helped me in the organisation and running of the race on Thursday evening. Without their help in the planning, setting up the course, marshalling, and clearing away, my job would have been impossible. And the superb catering we provided for our guests, organised by Chris and Amanda, was something else, and seemed very appropriate on the cooler damp evening. Thank you also to those who brought some additional food, and to the Juniors who helped to supply the drinks at the finish, giving out goody bags, and other things. I am not aware of any problems, and only got good feedback from the Police and Rugby Club staff, but if anyone was made aware of anything that could have been improved please let me know, to benefit future race organisation. Thanks again.
