Christmas Relays and Quiz, Tuesday 19th Dec.
The relays will take place at 7.15 pm (meet at the tennis club at 7 pm or at the Old Bridge for a 7.15 start). Teams of 4, 1 x 1 mile circuit of Rupert Road for each team member. Prize for first team home and best festive fancy dress. Mulled wine and mince pies for all runners. The relays will be follow by the traditional Christmas Quiz at the tennis club (start 8.30; teams of 8 or less). Free food will be laid on for those taking part in the quiz. Please let Hilda Coulsey know if you are intending to come along so that we have an idea of numbers for the food. There will be a small charge of £2 per person taking part in the relays and/or quiz which will go to a charity of the committee's choice.

Just a little bit of additional information. Teams of 4 can be any combination - but under 14's must run with an adult. We want as many in fancy dress as possible, but make sure it is safe to run in, and if you can include something reflective or illuminated – even better. It is not necessary to let us know in advance of any of the teams wanting to run, just turn up on the night, but as Val said we need to know the numbers intending going to the quiz for food. If you cannot let Hilda know, add your name on here with the number coming with you for food.

LAST CALL FOR THE QUIZ / RELAYS
Please can anyone intending to take part in the quiz and who would like food let Hilda or myself know as soon as possible. So far we have had about 25 people sign up but in the past we have had nearly 70 people there for the quiz so I'm sure there are a lot of you out there who have not signed up yet. We need to let the tennis club know by the end of this week how many people to cater for.
