On Tuesday the head lamp off road training run will take us to the west part of the moor with 1 mile on the road to reach wells rd from the club. Light trail shoes will be fine if it stays dry.
Mileage will be 7.5 miles, we will not be stopping and will try to do that by re grouping and straight away run again. Faster paces will do perhaps another mile by re grouping only on the flattish sections.
This run will focus on trying to up our effort going up hill and tackle some technical trails too (most of the hills are on widish good trails.) Route is club to wells road, main path to white wells up to the sycamore trees turn right here all the way up to the ancient wood, fell section to badger stone out on the track to take the sandy becoming stone path to twelve apostles and start the descent a surprise way. No AGM so we ll have time.
All welcome ...if there is another leader that wanted to do a shorter route we could take with us a slower paced group too to do a smaller loop possibly heading down to the tarn after the sycamore trees.
