During the Ian Hodgson Fell Relays on Sunday, Darren Holloway from Pennine Fell Runners tragically collapsed and died whilst competing on the final leg. A great many within the fell running family are struggling to comprehend the loss of such a fine athlete, and a great bloke.

A Just Giving page has been set up in his memory to enable contributions to Woodhead Mountain Rescue (a charity supported by Darren) and/or the Air Ambulance (which came to Darren's aid during the race).

I thought it would be worth posting the link to the page here, in case anyone would like to donate in Darren's memory.

I understand that there may be a race in his name at a suitable point in time, and also something to mark his passing at this weekends FRA Relays.
