Who will be Harriers of the Month for September?

I'd like to nominate the Harrogate posse - Helene Whitaker and Ian Rowbotham.

Helene obviously for her amazing fourth place overall/first woman in the second running of the Dragon's Back, 20 years after winning with Martin Stone, running as a pair - more to come in the Newsletter.

Less obviously, as it didn't make it onto the website at the time, Ian also came fourth overall in the Parachute Regiment P Company Challenge at Catterick on 9 September with just one para in front. This ten mile race across rough hilly terrain is run carrying a 35lb rucksack and wearing boots and long trousers. Ian's time was 1:25:34.

BTW don't forget Helene is V45 and Ian is V50 and they came 4th over ALL
