Whilst most of the flood water has gone back into the river, I think we should give the ground and access road at the Tennis Club time to recover this week.
No, that does not mean a night off, as I am going to run the session from the football field opposite the park, on the corner of Denton Road and Middleton Avenue, where we have done it once before. There is still a small pool of water down there, but the rest of the ground is good underfoot, and the light is usually ok. So hope to see you all there at 7.00.
