The minutes of the last meeting are now available on the Committee Pagehttp://ilkleyharriers.co.uk/index.php?page=committee
(It is probably best that we don't publish the minutes until after the following Tuesday Club night, so as not to spoil the surprise of the Harrier of the Month presentation.)
I plan to write a few notes here to explain any points on the minutes, where needed, each month. But it all seems pretty clear this time, I think ...
The start of this month's meeting was spent reviewing the new Club kit and agreeing which items would be offered - this is now in the newsletter and on the Club Kit pagehttp://ilkleyharriers.co.uk/index.php?page=kit
Ewan dropped in to discuss his "Gathering", which the Committee endorsed. (This was a great success, as will be reported separately).
And the Committee approved a Development Plan for the Club, available on the Committee Page of the web site, that simply sets out targets for the Club and the Committee for this year in detail.
The plans for the Presentation Evening are progressing and it was decided to repeat last year's successful Do at the Rugby Club, though we will try some different catering arrangements. There will be more details on the web site nearer the time, but please mark the date in your diaries - Fri 29 January.
There are numerous other topics in the minutes but these are covered in the newsletter, which came out last night, or elsewhere on the web site. If there's anything you'd like more detail on, please just ask.
If there are any suggestions for the Agenda of the next meeting on 1 December, please let me know. We will be finalising the details for the Presentation evening, the 2010 Harriers Running League fixtures, and allocating the 4 Club places in the London Marathon, amongst other things.
Finally, a reminder that the membership renewal forms are in the newsletter and your subs are now due. Please make this easy for our new Membership Secretary Emma O'Looney by signing your forms and bringing them along with your subs as soon as you can.
