Movement Skills workshops - for anyone

Are you interested attending our movement skills workshops, however NOT qualified England Athletics coach or Run leader?

Well you are in luck, England Athletics are delighted to announce we have opened up workshops to non-EA qualified coaches and leaders.

Whether you are a current athlete looking for training advice, local teacher or coach from a different sport, these workshops will help you get an understanding of the key fundamental movement patterns and physical preparation that are essential to help improve you or your athletes physical performance, movement, shape and strength.

Key outcomes:

How to develop the physical qualities required to complete the technical elements of running, jumping and throwing

Physical Preparation (strength and conditioning)

Movement and Shape – including how we move

Introduction to the skeleton and how this links to mobility / stability

West Yorkshire:
Venue: Morley Leisure Centre, Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9JP
Date and Time: Sunday 6th November 10am-4pm

Venue: Brooksbank High, Victoria Road, Elland (near Halifax), HX5 0QG
Date and Time: Wednesday 9th & 16th November 6.30pm-9.00pm (need to attend both evenings)

North Yorkshire:
Venue: York College, Sim Balk Lane, Bishopthorpe, York YO23 2BB
Date and Time: Sunday 20th November 10am-4pm

If you are interested attending and haven’t booked, please do so ASAP as the booking deadlines are fast approaching. Unfortunately if numbers don’t pick up, we will have to cancel the workshops.

All workshops are only £15pp for affiliated leaders/coaches and £30pp for non-affiliated leaders/coaches.
