Northern Road Relays 25 March 2018

Postby CarolineH » Sun Jan 14, 2018 6:04 pm

A date for the diary for all roadies! The Northern Road Relays take place on 25 March 2018 in Blackpool and we are keen to enter men's and women's teams!

For a men's team we need 12 runners and for a women's team we need 6. Legs are a mix of approx 9.5km and 5.2km.

Further details to follow, but we are looking for early expressions of interest for what promises to be a great team occasion!

So pencil the date in your diary and let Jack Wood know if interested in joining the men's team or let me know for the women's team.

To get a sense of the occasion read Petra's report from last year: http://www.ilkleyharriers.org.uk/index. ... 7&month=03

Thanks, Caroline Howe

Many thanks to everyone who has expressed an interest so far in the Northern Road Relays on 25 March. Full information is now available on the website here: https://www.northernathletics.org.uk/ev ... pionships/

Please note, the relays will this year take place at Birkenhead Park on the Wirral (not Blackpool as previously stated).

The men's is 4 legs of 8.5k and 8 legs of 4.3k.

Hi all, it is looking unlikely now that we will be able to get a women's team together for this, but if anyone is still interested who hasn't let me know yet, please get in touch. Many thanks, Caroline

Great Malcolm. Almost everyone confirmed now. I should be able to give you a lift on the day if you can get to Silsden. Struggling to get anyone else for the subs bench, if you've any ideas?
