Dear Ilkley Harriers,

This is a message of gratitude to all the race organisers, volunteers, marshals, RUNNERS and supporters of the Trail Race...

We are so pleased that you enjoyed The Harriers' Trail Race on May Bank Holiday weekend; it's fantastic that Ilkley has a vibrant & friendly running club where people can share a healthy and challenging interest.

We hope you had a positive and exciting race in amongst our glorious Yorkshire scenery.

It is with delight that we heard the news you are nominating Give A Child A Hope to receive the entry tariffs to benefit the children at The Revival Centre, Matugga, Uganda . These are children who would be in extreme poverty and dire abandonment otherwise. The Centre gives the children a stable home, medical care and the opportunity of a primary and secondary education, which are highly prized in Uganda. Many of the children have already faced extreme challenges in their young lives and they know they need to work hard at their education to overcome their circumstances. Your gift equips them to do that.

It is very powerful to see an outpouring of care and a desire to help others. We are so grateful for each and every donation, given for the children at Matugga. All these acts of giving combine together to create and support the Revival Centre.

Thank you again for the very active part you have played in this.

From Bishop Ivan Lugoloobi , the children and staff at Revival Centre and all at the charity, Give A Child A Hope, Ilkley.

Sincerely, Nikki Barber, Charity Administrator.
